M. Selim Ünlü

Distinguished Professor of Engineering appointed in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Material Science and Engineering, and Graduate Medical Sciences at Boston University. He is an expert on nanophotonics, optical resonators applied to biological sensing and imaging.

He has published over 180 peer-reviewed journal articles and 15 patents (8 issued), and graduated 30 PhDs. He is the inventor of the Single Particle – Interferometric Reflectance Imaging Sensor (SP-IRIS).
